Terms & Conditions
Updated October 15, 2026 · Pilot policy draft
The current service
Front Desk is a pilot receptionist and scheduling service. The sales site includes scripted demos and voice samples. The owner workspace provides an account, service calendar, business settings, minimal call records. Live phone answering and booking require provider setup. Texting and automatic daily summary delivery are not active for this pilot.
Account creation after payment
New accounts require a verified subscription payment. Unpaid, failed, or cancelled checkout does not allow signup. While this site is in Stripe sandbox mode, a verified test payment creates a test account only and never enables paid AI usage. Existing operator access is preserved. Keep the checkout browser open until activation is complete, and confirm your account email when asked.
Accounts and business setup
Use accurate business details, protect your login, and only connect numbers and records you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your business hours, services, availability, and customer instructions. Review bookings and caller details for mistakes.
Prices and payments
Paid plans on the sales site are proposed prices. The original sales preview is browser-local. Stripe sandbox checkout now creates test subscriptions only; it does not charge real cards or activate a commercial subscription. Provider charges for live calls and phone numbers are separate. Before paid activation, the agreed price, usage limits, billing schedule, cancellation process, and any refund terms must be disclosed. At checkout, you must separately authorize the selected monthly subscription price to renew each month until cancelled. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout. No additional Front Desk usage fees are authorized by that agreement. Cancel online from Billing using “Manage or cancel subscription.” Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period. It does not automatically refund the current period. If you cannot access billing, submit a support request.
Service interruptions and refunds
AI responses, scheduling, phone services, and website availability may contain errors or experience interruptions. Except where required by applicable law or an express written refund commitment, Front Desk is not obligated to provide an automatic refund solely because the AI, website, or a connected service makes a mistake, fails, or becomes unavailable.
We will review reported problems in good faith and do our best to reimburse affected buyers where appropriate. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a full or partial refund, a service credit, or another reasonable remedy. A particular refund amount or remedy is not guaranteed, except where required by law.
Report a problem to the Front Desk operator through the support and privacy request form at /support and include your account email, the date of the issue, and what happened. Do not include payment card details or passwords. This policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, dispute, or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
Accepting these terms
Before starting a new subscription checkout, you must actively agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the service interruption and refund policy. The accepted terms version and acceptance time are recorded with checkout. Free demos do not require a purchase.
Calls and minimal history
Connected calls are handled by an automated voice receptionist. Front Desk saves new call-history records as a stated caller name, date/time, and duration, without audio, full transcripts, or summaries. Calendar bookings are separate. The integration requests Retell Basic Attributes Only storage; temporary provider processing can still occur, so this is not a guarantee that audio is never temporarily created. Businesses must disclose AI use and review the published provider settings before live calls. Obtain legally required consent before recording, transcription, or processing that requires it begins; a website notice or owner checkbox does not substitute for caller consent. Provide a real human contact alternative for callers who decline, or end the interaction where a lawful alternative is unavailable. Review provider retention settings. Outbound AI calls require the applicable permissions. Do not use Front Desk for unsolicited messages, impersonation, or unlawful activity. Voice samples do not guarantee the voice configured for your live agent.
Appointments and limitations
Calendar entries depend on the details supplied and the connected services. Confirm important appointments with the business. Front Desk is not an emergency service. Do not submit payment card details, passwords, or sensitive medical information through demos or call notes. Availability and accuracy are not guaranteed.
Payment failures and history
For the planned paid service, failed payment pauses AI calls and texts immediately. Owners have five days to update payment before dashboard access is blocked. Billing access remains available, and history is retained. Verified payment restores access. Sandbox payments only unlock test workspace access and never activate paid AI usage. The operator pilot is separate.
Your content and access
You retain your business records. Front Desk and its providers process them to operate the configured service. Export your workspace backup before closing an account. Service access may be paused for misuse, security incidents, or provider interruptions.
Pilot terms and questions
These pilot terms apply to both Front Desk websites and may be updated when service features change. No commercial subscription agreement is active through these websites. For pilot support or account requests, use the support form. Support, refund, privacy, and accessibility requests can be submitted without an account at /support. The inbox is reviewed manually. A public legal operator identity and contact email must still be supplied before commercial subscriptions open.
