CUSTOMER PROTECTIONS

Clear terms. Careful handling.

Five protections guide our receptionist pilot. These safeguards reduce risk; they are not a legal certification or a guarantee of security.

01. Terms you can review first

Read the service limits, acceptable use, and refund policy before agreeing. Refund requests receive a good-faith review. Nothing in our terms removes rights that the law does not allow you to waive.

02. Control over recurring charges

Checkout shows the monthly price and requires separate agreement to monthly renewal. Cancel from Billing using “Manage or cancel subscription.” Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period. It does not automatically refund the current period.

Checkout is currently a sandbox. Test payments do not activate paid AI calls. No extra Front Desk usage charge is automatically authorized by accepting the monthly plan. Any separate phone-provider costs must be disclosed before activation.

03. Privacy and a way to ask for help

Our privacy notice explains the information processed, providers, browser storage, and retention limits. Request access, correction, deletion, a refund review, or help through our support form. Requests are reviewed by the operator; submission does not automatically delete data or cancel a subscription.

04. Account and payment protections

Owner records require sign-in and account-based permissions. Phone events require a valid provider signature. Payment details go to Stripe checkout. Front Desk does not store full payment card numbers. Browser security headers restrict framing and unsafe content types.

Protect your password, sign out on shared devices, and keep backup exports private. Never send passwords, card details, government IDs, or sensitive medical information in call notes or support requests.

05. Honest AI and call notices

Front Desk is an automated AI receptionist. It may misunderstand a caller or make a scheduling mistake. New call-history records contain only a stated name, date/time, and duration. Front Desk requests Basic Attributes Only storage and does not save audio, full transcripts, or summaries. Retell may still create temporary audio; this is not a zero-capture guarantee. Businesses must review provider processing, any required consent, and a human contact alternative before preparing their connection.

A website notice is not consent to record a call. The phone provider must be configured to give any required notice and obtain consent before recording or other processing that requires it. If a caller declines, use a lawful alternative or end the interaction. Outbound AI calls require the applicable permission; this pilot does not offer outbound campaigns or customer texting.

For emergencies, contact emergency services directly. Do not rely on Front Desk for emergency assistance, professional advice, or a guaranteed appointment.

Review the call setup guide

Commercial activation remains subject to provider setup, published operator contact details, and a review of the laws that apply to your business and callers.
